Pedersen: “It’s wonderful”

Casper Pedersen :”It was a dream to get a result here. I came out of the Tour with a good shape. Soren Kragh Andersen was our leader but I was extremely motivated to be up there in the finale as well. The first attacker often goes a long way. When a group attacked in the first vineyard track, after a push from Romain Bardet, I went for it. I had already sprinted against Benoît Cosnefroy. I knew he would hurt me in the climb, and I struggled, but the point was to hang on and have a go in the sprint. It’s wonderful.”
